Permaculture Orchard

Volunteer with us on Good Friday to plant our first ever Permaculture Orchard!

Permaculture Orchard Coming this Spring

After years of learning and hoping, we’re finally starting our permaculture orchard this spring! Using methods taught by Stefan Sobkowiac of Miracle Farms in Quebec, we’ll be planting apple, plum, peach, pear, persimmon, pawpaw, juneberry (saskatoon), honeyberry (haskap), honeylocust, and all manner of berries and perennials to create a rich, disease-resistant community of fruit bearing plants.

On Good Friday, April 15, we’re hosting our first volunteer workday to put in trees, dripline, mulch, and labels. Interested in joining us? Sign up at http://rh.gy/bkbtek. We’ll need your shovels, your casseroles, and your good cheer!
